Missy Reilly Smith applauds President Trump’s nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett

Missy Reilly Smith, foundress and president of WAKE UP, thanks President Donald Trump for nominating Judge Amy Coney Barrett to serve on the United States Supreme Court. WAKE UP stands for Women Against the Killing & Exploitation of Unprotected Persons.

“I have long felt Amy Coney Barrett would be the best choice for a Supreme Court nomination. I am very pleased at President Trump’s nomination today! said Mrs. Reilly Smith.

“She is one of our most brilliant and gifted legal minds with unyielding loyalty to the Constitution. If she is confirmed, she will be the youngest mother of school age children to sit on the Supreme Court.

“Personally, it touches my heart that we are both mothers of sons who were born with Down syndrome. My son John Lewis was born with Down syndrome and he was the joy of our whole family and everyone who knew him until he died of a fatal heart attack at age 18. However, when John was born, our doctor urged my husband Lewis to kill him. The doctor said: ‘What we do with these children is push their bassinets to the wall and not feed them.’

“Given that Mrs. Coney Barrett is age 48, I happily expect that she will have many years to leave her imprint on the Court.”

Missy takes her pro-life mission to the streets and Associated Press interviewed her when abortion zealots protested President Trump’s nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh. She requested the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett at that time and her interview begins near the 1-minute mark.
